ST. LOUIS - Robert Abu Abdul Rasheed, a 76-year-old man diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, was reported missing nearly two weeks ago. Concerns are growing for his well-being. As of Friday night, Rasheed had yet to be found. Police have issued an Endangered Silver Advisory in his disappearance. “We love him to death,” said Latonya Reed, Rasheed’s niece. “We’re looking for him. We’re worried about him.”Police said Rasheed was last seen in the 2700 block of Henrietta Street in the City of St. Louis, near S. Jefferson and Lafayette Avenues, on Nov. 4. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - There’s good reason to be thankful this weekend, especially if you drive the Jefferson Barracks Bridge daily.MODOT is preparing to restore traffic to both westbound and eastbound lanes this weekend after a year and a half of various closures along the JB bridge."They are working hard on that [bridge],” Kurt Jarvis an area resident said.In spring 2022, MoDOT began rehab work on the bridge fixing uneven lanes that had been cracked and worn down over time. Douglas County law enforcement lifted a shelter-in-place for the Larkspur area on Friday night after an “exhaustive” search failed to locate a man who escaped police custody in Greeley earlier this week.Douglas County SWAT and sheriff’s deputies searched the area of Fox Farm Road and Spruce Mountain Road in Larkspur on Friday afternoon and evening for Luis Fernando Certa-Regaldo, who escaped police custody at a Greeley hospital on Wednesday.Deputies will remain in the area and follow leads on the case, according to the sheriff’s office. A Laguna Beach man arrested in the death of 27-year-old Tatum Goodwin used a fire extinguisher to kill her, prosecutors alleged in a new court filing on Friday.The body of Goodwin, who lived in San Clemente, was discovered on Nov. 12 by a construction worker in an alleyway off the 200 block of Ocean Avenue, near Carmelita’s restaurant where she worked.“Her body was under a chain link fence on a construction site and a sandbag had been placed on her head,” prosecutors revealed.Dino Rojas-Moreno, 26, of Laguna Hills was arrested on Wednesday and charged with Goodwin’s slaying. He worked as a bartender at Laguna Beach's Royal Hawaiian Fire Grill, according to the Orange County Register. Tatum Goodwin, 27, was found dead in Laguna Beach on Nov. 12, 2023. An Orange County nanny was sentenced Friday for molesting 16 young boys and showing pornography to a 17th boy while they were under his care.Matthew Antonio Zakrzewski, 34, of Costa Mesa, faces 705 years to life plus two years and eight months in prison, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.He was convicted on Oct. 3 by a jury of 34 felony counts, including lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under the age of 14, oral copulation of a child under the age of 10, possession of child pornography, using a minor for sex acts, and more.Zakrzewski had worked as a nanny for many families across Southern California.
