The e-States X Factor: Matthew Schneider’s Vision for Transforming Commercial Real Estate

Published Sat, 22 Feb 2025 04:24:57 GMT

Matthew Schneider of e-States commercial real estate solutions wants to talk about the X Factor.“When you look at other companies in the commercial real estate space—and there’s too many making this mistake—you see a lack of engagement in the lifecycle of a property,” said Matthew, the e-States CEO. “I always use the analogy that we’re connecting the dots. And that’s our magic, as opposed to being just another incomplete, peripheral software product. There are niche solutions out there, but that isolation causes inefficiency and increases human error. It doesn’t allow you to utilize information, because everything has to be contextualized.“And so what we realized is that we’re able to provide multiple tools in the same place, consolidating information and allowing it to properly integrate, whether it’s fundraising, property management, or investor relations. We’re putting that all in the same platform. That’s a major strength for our propert...

Earlier this month, downtown Danville welcomed its newest seafood restaurant: Tides, a new high-end, ocean-inspired eatery. The elegant new restaurant is, in large part, the brainchild of executive chef and general manager Marikah Woodson, whose culinary journey began years ago in Pleasanton. The oldest of five kids, she learned to cook at home. When she went off to college — she played basketball at San Jose State — she frequently cooked up big batches of pasta to feed friends and classmates.“Everyone loved my cooking — it was a lot of fun,” she recalls. After college, she remembers seeing an ad for Le Cordon Bleu and being instantly inspired. “I had this epiphany,” she says. “I called my mom and said, ‘I really think I want to be a chef.'”An externship at Livermore’s Wente Vineyards led to a stint as sous chef, before she teamed up with chef Matt Greco to open Salt Craft in Pleasanton.
